Michael G. Hawkins, baritone


Michael has recently appeared as Captain Hook in the National tour of Peter Pan starring Cathy Rigby, as Mervyn Kant in The Sisters Rosensweig for TheatreWorks in San Francisco, and as George Dillingham in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Aspects Of Love at the Alex Theatre in Los Angeles.


He appeared as Georges in the critically acclaimed Los Angeles production of La Cage Aux Folles, as Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd at the Music Circus in Sacramento and as Billy Flynn in Chicago in Las Vegas.  He spent a summer portraying Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls at Harrahs in Atlantic City and was proud to originate the role of Adam in the world premier of Dale Wasserman’s new musical Western Star. Michael also had the great of touring as Julian Marsh in the European Company of 42nd Street.


He has performed as a guest soloist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl, with the L.A. Pops Orchestra in their last two summer concert series and with the Pacific Symphony at the Orange County Performing Arts Center as well as traveling the country in the Columbia Artist tour The White Cliffs of Dover, songs of WWII .


His television credits include guest appearances on Eli Stone, Frasier, Charley Lawrence, Murder She Wrote, Wings, Colombo Movie of the Week, Cheers, Newhart, The Young & The Restless, and the Hallmark Hall Of Fame presentation of A Place For Annie.

Victoria Strong has performed in many different theatres throughout the southland.  She recently completed a successful run as Betty Blake in The Will Rogers Follies and is currently in rehearsal for the musical Camelot at the Glendale Centre Theatre as Guenivere.

Douglas Carpenter, tenor


Doug began his career in opera earning a degree in voice from UNLV and a Masters in Vocal Performance from UCLA.  SInce graduating in May of 2009, Doug originated the role of Skip in LIfe Could Be A Dream (LA Weekly and Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle awardwinner), and performed in the last show at the Pasadena Playhouse as Lancelot in Camelot.  Other roles include Curly in Oklahoma (Fullerton Civic Light Opera), Tony in West Side Story(FCLO), Thief in See What I Wanna See(Blank Theatre), and Prince in Cinderella (Civic Light Opera of South Bay Cities). 


Doug still performs opera with the Orange County Opera as well as the Palm Springs Opera Guild, and recently performed with the South Coast Symphony.  Most recently, Doug is reprised his role in Life Could be a Dream at the Laguna Playhouse as well as Chris in Miss Saigon at the Moonlight Amphitheatre. He continues to teach vocal technique at the Lee Strasberg Institute as well as maintaining a private studio.  Join the mailing list at www.dougcarpenter.net
